What is Fiber Splicing?
Fiber splicing is the process of joining two optical fibers together, so the light can pass through from one fiber to the other. The most common type of fiber splicing is Fusion Splicing.

Fusion Splicing utilized a machine to align fiber ends and fuse them together. This results in:
